Leeds, a vibrant and diverse city in West Yorkshire, has always been a hub of cultural activity. Next year in 2023, it will proudly take centre stage as the UK’s City of Culture, showcasing its rich heritage, dynamic arts scene, and forward-thinking spirit. This accolade brought a year-long celebration, transforming Leeds into a canvas of creativity and innovation, drawing attention from across the globe.
It will be a city wide event that will be made up of many events across the city across the entire year.The vision for Leeds City of Culture 2023 is not just to celebrate the city’s artistic achievements but to create lasting change and legacy. The aim is to engage communities, inspire young people, and boost the local economy. By investing in cultural initiatives, Leeds sought to enhance the quality of life for its residents, promote social cohesion, and position itself as a global cultural destination.

LEEDS 2023 will be a landmark year of culture for the city and region. Our ambitious and ground-breaking programme will transform people’s perceptions of Leeds, confirming it as an international centre of cultural activity and cementing its reputation as a cultural giant in the world.
Showcasing creativity across all forms of culture, we will partner with local, national and international artists, creatives and storytellers to deliver a series of world-class signature events across the year. From dance to design, art to architecture, poetry to pop, sculpture to sport, there will be something for everyone!
Having supplied a variety of outdoor event services to Kingston upon Hull in 2017 and Coventry in 2021 we can’t wait to be involved in 2023!
