Commbus was formed in 1999 by its directors who, having worked together on several individual projects decided to combine their expertise to provide a high-quality professional service with individual solutions designed exactly to the client’s specifications.
The Directors experience came from a wide variety of industry fields such as public address, lighting for stage and concerts, television, outdoor events, marketing and vehicle management. It provided a solid base to assist and support our clients in every way to make every event a success.
This unique collaboration of talent and experience has enabled us to grow and provide solutions to clients by using the best resources to provide truly unique solutions.
This year we are super excited to launch our Event Hire Shop !
It has pretty much everything and anything you might need for your outdoor event - you can browse our stores virtually and create your event wish list - send to us for a quick and easy quote. Ah if you find yourself looking for something that isn’t there - just ask. We may have that too - and In the rare occasion its not in our stores -well we will know where to get it from!
Commbus
Outdoor Event Experts
As an experienced event support company supplying the outdoor events industry for over 25 years as a company and well longer for some of the team – we can support you with your whole event. We can supply you with vehicles, equipment, staff and our knowledge.
Every event needs one of our event control buses they are ideal as production offices, communication hubs and backstage support units. You can have them branded too! Double deck buses are perfect solution on an event site giving a large amount of indoor working space for a small footprint on your site. From the upper deck of the buses, you can gets views across your event site. The practical benefits of having one of our fleet of buses means all your amenities and key event personnel are in place so you can jump on board and begin working.
That’s just for starters – from plant hire, to pre festival planning, to on site management, event transport or an open top bus for an outdoor stage mean we supply our clients with this variety of services and event equipment hire.

Deckerdence
In 2015 Deckerdence was acquired by Commbus Directors Mark Clark and Clare Macleod.
Deckerdence is a truly unique one of a kind venue – perfect wedding, parties and events that dare to be different.
Deckerdence vintage double deck bus is home to our traditional bar & fabulous cocktail lounge a full wrap around marquee with space for dining, dancing, and relaxing.
Perfect for a wedding venue, unforgettable parties, corporate hospitality and events including festivals, fetes and fairs.

Mark Clark
MD
The founding director at Commbus and the driving force behind Commbus, can and has driven everything – apart from a tank and that’s on his to-do list – though he prefers these days to be on one of his tractors at our events space.
Working at events across the world from our base at Blyth Hall Farm to International affairs for the G8

Clare Macleod
Events Director
With a background in Marketing, PR and Event Planning for global technology companies Clare’s role is managing client events, from furniture hire to festival management.
Rarely seen without a clip board in hand and never too far away from planning spreadsheet – behind the scenes and onsite Clare’s experience and knowledge will give you the peace of mind that your event requirements are complete!
