University of Hertfordshire plans a UK Roadshow to visit Schools

Recent changes over the last few years in higher education have  inspired the University of Hertfordshire to plan a UK Roadshow to visit schools, colleges and cities across the country to encourage students to consider university as a next step.

Hiring one of our short term hire Roadshow buses the University of Hertfordshire recruitment teams and students will be out on the road for a 2 week roadshow running 17th – 29th June 2013. The roadshow bus has been wrapped on the exterior and a bespoke adaptation internally making the bus their very own to provide local students with a range of information, advice and guidance on life at university.

Students visiting the bus will be given the chance to question the team anything and everything abut going to University from advice on  funding their education,  to gaining tips on how to write a good application and get advice on any concerns that they may have about entering higher education. Students will also be able to discover the wide range of subjects offered at the University of Hertfordshire through interactive workshops.

This initiative was designed by the University of Hertfordshire to encourage young people to further their studies following school or college, in particular, to consider university as a valuable option.Ed Layt, Marketing Manager at the University of Hertfordshire and leader of the initiative, says: “The Roadshow offers students an alternative and unique opportunity to find out more about going to university. It helps to raise student aspirations and encourages them to engage with their education, as well as shedding light on the value of getting a degree and the benefits of higher education as a whole.”

We are really excited to be on the road with them and you can find our more about the tour, enter their competition and follow its journey:
